Pre and Post PSLE

Finally! The exams are over! Sorry i have not been able to post anything new recently. First, I am still fingerboarding.
PRE-PSLE: During my revision, my mom took a half day leave to supervise me and make sure i dont get carried away by other fun stuff. Grrr! Had to sacrifice some of my precious playtime to do homework and etc. What marks I had to impress my mom - 250. OMG! It was a very hard period of my life for me.
POST-PSLE: Can do anything I want! Play computer and etc. No more tuiton yay! And i am holding a end of year party for my classmates!( Call my hp if u want enquires about my chalet)
Basically, Pre psle is hardwork and Post psle is fun, fun, and more fun. So make sure you work hard for the PSLE Pri5! I know it may be very stressful and maybe too hard for u, but once you get the hang of it, the rest will be fine. And make sure u don't fumble during the exam! During the exam, I felt like i was taking any other test because i think the prelim exams helped me with my mindset. And now that PSLE is over, i can sit back and relax.

My Visit to the National Museum

A couple of days ago, my class went on a field trip to the National Museum of Singapore. It was my first visit to the museum. At first, i thought that museums would be boring, from what i've heard. But when i entered the museum, it was quite empty and chilly. When we went to take a look inside the History place, it was actually quite interesting. The dark paths actually sometimes scared me. lol.
For Singapore, it is important to have a museum because it will atract more tourists to come to Singapore. We want to show the world that we are a strong country, so we build a museum to show our short but yet fasinating history.
For me, i enjoyed the trip because we got to go see cool stuff from old times in Singapore, and the part that intrested me the most was the little companion a.k.a 'Tour Guide'. It was like very expensive and was very high-tech because u could just punch in the numbers and they give u the full details about it. Cool!
One of the most memoriable thing i have learnt is that Lee Kuan Yew was very cool when he was younger and gave Singapore a booster. When i say booster, i mean a helping hand. Singapore is so cool and 'm proud to be a Singaporean! xD

Term 1 Week 10: After CA1

The class test is finally over! But sadly, my results were poor.Sad face.:( I totally missed my target, but the good thing is, the average was even lower! So im ABOVE AVERAGE! I would have to use different techniques for each subject.
For English and Chinese, I should revise and remember the words, so that it sticks in my brain. But for Maths and Science, I must also revise, but instead learn new ways and methods for questions and know the question. I think the reason I was did very bad in the tests is because i didn't understand some stuff, and i 'wasted' my free time on computer.Sad! I think i will make use of the strategies i learnt from Mindchamps because they are very useful.
Anyways, This is just a checkpoint to PSLE, and i must revise harder! The green light is on! Go go go! :D

Term 1 Week 8 Singapore Education System

A lot of people think that Singapore Education System is to high-class. But i mean, if we let it stay this way, we can make some smart ppls. But the downside, if you do not score well for exams, you'll just go down down down and down, all the way to ITE.

The good things: smart people, make good things, get good results.
The bad things: Poor people, no education, fail exam, ITE.

We are winning a lot of contests in education because of our education system. If you compare us to the U.S, we have less freedom, but we are smarter, more disciplined, and our crime rate is much lesser.

I like the education system of Singapore because it will make us smart, it WILL make us earn big bucks. I know it can be tough, but once you get the hang of it, the rest is easy.

Other than examinations, the ministry could test their attitude, Morales, and blah. To help them get good results in the exams.

A lot of foreign students are coming to Singapore because of its good education system. Other than that, maybe because Singapore is a safe country where crime is very rare. Other countries re trying to imitate Singapore education system because it is effective, can build character, and will make you smart. Overall Singapore is in the top 5 in the world in exams. People will come to Singapore.

Well as usual, im back and posting this. Im an avid badminton player, and blah.
Lets see-
Monday- Mindchamps 6 to 9
Tuesday- Teh Chinese tuition at homeee 4 to 5
Wednesday- Mindchamps 6 to 9
Thursday- Piano Practice 2.30 to 3.30 & Badminton Training 6 to 8
Friday- Nothing! Yea
Saturday- Mindchamps 2.30 to 6
Sunday- Nothing again! YeAAAAAAAA

Ok so that's my schedule. I wish i could try some other sports, like squash and hockey, and i wanna go to teh gym.LOL

New Year Resolutions 2009 Week 1

2008 has passed, and now im in the top flight of Anderson Primary. 2009 will be a good and fufilling year and ii will list out what i want to do for 2009:

1. Get a good secondary School
2. Host an awesome birthday party!
3. Be badminton school team captain.(But i'll have to beat Yu Yong!)
4. Play non-stop after PSLE!
5. Study hard for the upcoming prelims.

If i had fufilled one of them, i will post them on the blog. Good luck and have fun in the years ahead! :D

The Next Step Forward

Yay! Finally the exams are over! No more studing non-stop, loads of tution classes and being under pressure! But now when I think about 2008, there were some good times and bad times.

January

The start of the school year 2008! Get to meet my friends again! After weeks of fun and games, we are ready to go!

February

The Chinese New Year has arrived! Alot of red packets, sweets and visiting! And we get to wear slik clothes! :D

March

Time for CA1! Although its just a test, we must study alot and try our best! And after that, 1 week of school holiday!

April

Whaaa! Back from school holiday! We are all excited and nervous for the SA1! Other than that, my mom tells me that we are going for a holiday in May!

May

SA1 has arrived! after hours or studying, reading textbooks and no computer, we are past SA1 and ready for our 1 month summer vacation! I am also getting ready for the 1 week trip to Japan! Arigato!

June

In Japan now, the weather is really cold! Even though wearing a thick jacket, im still freezing! After my trip to Japan, im playing the computer during my good holidays!

July

My mom's birthday! Other than that, i cant think of anything. :(

September

CA2! The next test! Im gonna revise till i just cant do it anymore! All my teachers and parents are tired after teaching us!

October

Happy childrens day! The teachers put up a show for us! We are all extremely nervous about the exams! Its like a barrier blocking us from 2009!

November

it is time, take your pens, GO! We were all confident in doing our exams beause we knew we revised hard and the teaching our teachers gave us! After the exam, im not too happy about my results.:(

December

As expected, its play all day for me! but going towards the end of my holidays, i will study for 2009! Next year, PSLE, my first major exam!:D

Achievements and Accomplishments

-Beritah Harian Open- 2nd round
-Anderson Primary School Sports Day- Long Jump Sliver Medallist
-Anderson Primary School Cross-Country-8th Place
-I got to learn freestyle stroke for swimming! P.S Im not that good at it
- Went to Yu Xuan's house for the first time!
-Went for The Big Walk 2008! I also got to visit the newly built Marina Barrage!

My target for 2009

Obviously, 2009 is going to be a big year for my friends and I. My target for 2009 would be to reach the 3rd round of a badminton competition, score at least a 235 for my PSLE, and hold a graduation party at my house! Im gonna miss all the memories from 2008, but i will have a better time in 2009! My las year in Anderson Primary School, will come very soon. :)

SleepyKidz! Is sleepy late at night good? Of course for u because u do not know the things that can happen to u! I know we kids like to play alot, but we ourselves must stay healthy! I know my week is quite packed but at least I sleep at 10.30pm. Most of the time when I wake up I feel OK but for Kathiraven,(my friend) he only sleeps for like 6 hours a day! Can you believe that! If you sleep late, it might make you more prone do germs and other dieseases. Sometimes you have no choice if you forget to do something like do your homework, which causes you too sleep later. Normally, I sleep about like 7 to 8 hours a day. My parents would of course love me to sleep earlier, but I have to pratice piano, tution,etc. I even have to practice more piano because my piano test is coming up very soon! When I have free time, I usually play computer games with my friends. Maybe thats why kids can't sleep early! They are addicted to computer games. Parents can make them sleep early by only allowing them to play a certain time a day? Anyway, I'm currently OK with my situation as I have a hobby like playing badminton. Actually, I don't do many activities other than badminton! Wow. But I still don't think sleepin late is a good ldea. See you soon! :D

Hello! Today I will be talking about CyberBullying. If you are being bullied, you must immediately tell your parents or somebody you trust. But if you are bullying people, you should know its WRONG! Usually, people get verbally bullied on MSN, E-mail,etc. If you have a friend that is being bullied, and he/she feels very hurt, you should comfort him/her. If he/she wants to be alone, you can always send a LETTER! Always remember, cyberbullies are people who don't dare to confront you and hide behind their screens. NE SHOW 08!

Hello fellow readers! I've recently went to the Marina Bay Floating Platform to celebrate Singapore's 43rd birthday! On Saturday, I went to Anderson Primary School to assemble. We arrived there just in time but in the end, we had to wait for an hour! Anyway, this year's funpack was acceptable, like a normal bag. When we reached there, the Floating Platform was already half-filled! Wow, I can't even believe that people would go soooooo early! When we sat down on our seats, Adrian Pang and the DJ's were jet-sking to the platform! Later during the show, we got to see the RSAF jets fly over us! Two of their pilots came to do some daring acts and they actually put a camera in their cockpits! And during the night, the spectacular fireworks lit up the sky. Red, gold, blue, green, all of these colours were the firework's colours. In the end, I had a wonderful experience. Especially when you are having alot of fun with your school buddies!:D But i'll have to go again this time with my family because we won the tickets! Yikes!

Food Sold in our Canteen

Do you like the food at our canteen? Well, I don't. Yeah, we have our favourite foods, drinks and a good variety, but it is quite disgusting. There was a few occasions where my friends found cocroaches in their food! But I have no choice because I can't eat out of school! My favourite store is the snack store because it is the cleanest stall. Maybe we could sell umm like prata? Anyway the tiles for the canteen is also not suitable. But even we also dirty the canteen. So, I must always make sure that I clear my plate after I eat. Bye!:)

Do you ever wonder about your future? Well, I have. When I grow up, since I like like to play badminton, I want to be a batminton player. The reason why is because I may have the chance to travel around the world and have very good hand strength. The people who inspired me the most are my family and friends and top class players. I may win trophy cups and get lots of money from it.BADMINTON 4 LIFE!:D

Oh yeah, I think this break helps us alot because during those days, we get to visit our relatives and have our reunion dinner. We'll get to meet our relatives and get alot of money from ang paos! I do not like the break, I LOVE IT!
